L&E International offers Amazon packaging design and testing support and is part of Amazon's APASS network program. The APASS program was designed by Amazon to help support vendors, sellers and manufacturers to obtain certification of their product packaging as Frustration-Free Packaging (FFP), Ships-in-Own-Container (SIOC) or Prep-Free Packaging (PFP) including robust ISTA 6A level package testing.
L&E provides APASS services directly to vendors, sellers or manufacturers related to package engineering, sourcing, and testing in compliance with Amazon’s packaging guidelines.
L&E Amazon A6 ISTA labs are located in North America and Asia.
“At L&E we are committed to sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint. We are excited and honored to be part of the Amazon APASS Network. We look forward to not only providing frustration free packaging for customers, but making the process of converting to the new packaging guidelines frustration free for Amazon’s vendors as well.”

What is Amazon Frustration-Free Packaging?
According to Amazon’s own definition, Frustration-Free Packaging is packaging that is made of 100% recyclable materials, easy to open, and designed to ship products in their original packaging, which eliminates the need for an additional shipping box. "Frustration-Free Packaging" was designed with the customer in mind, making it easier to liberate products from their packages while also reducing waste.
Frustration Free Packaging Should Be:
- Cost Effective
- Easy To Open
- Low Waste
